Having dealt with it ourselves for more than 20 years, we tried to compile a list of tricks or “hacks” to help you cope in similar situations. We also hope some of the decision makers in these companies feel inspired by these stories to analyse what can be done better.
We believe that one can truly design an organisation for paralysis, an organisation so complex, overlapped, bureaucratic and mismanaged that it’s truly impossible to work, we know a few. Small decisions can have a huge effect on the day to day of thousands of employees and managers sometimes simply do not understand the consequences because they don't see the day to day, especially those that reached the top without being part of the bottom.
